Adesua Etomi-Wellington has just admitted she’s an introvert.
In a recent post, the actress shared that since moving back to Lagos, she has attended more events than her body and mind can comfortably handle. Despite this, she still showed up for one more, for her sister and close friend, Bisola Aiyeola.
Since moving back to Lagos, I’ve attended more events than my introverted body and mind can handle BUT what’s one more for my sister and friend.
She described the night as worth it, noting that Bisola looked beautiful and that she had a great time.

The actress has spent much of the past years in and outside Nigeria. In September 2024, Adesua and her husband, singer and politician Banky W, relocated to the United States due to his academic pursuits. At the time, Banky W asked supporters to “wish us well,” while Adesua simply responded: “Home is wherever you are.”
In May 2025, Banky W graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management (MPM).
Sharing the news on Instagram, Banky W expressed deep appreciation for Adesua’s support throughout his studies. He joked that she deserved an honorary policy degree of her own for standing by him through the demanding years.
“I am thankful to share that I have just earned my Master’s degree in Policy Management,” he wrote. “Susu deserves her own complimentary Honorary Policy Master’s for going through these years with me. I couldn’t have survived without her.”
Since returning to Lagos, Adesua has slowly re-entered public life.
